This website is run by Epsom Painters & Decorators ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information you give us. You can contact us at hello@epsompaintersanddecorators.co.uk or on 07700 900000.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, by email or by phone, we collect the information you choose to give us – typically your name, phone number, email address, postcode and details of the work you'd like doing. If you become a customer, we also keep records of quotes, invoices and the work carried out.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit
- prepare and send quotes
- carry out, schedule and invoice the work
- keep records we are legally required to keep, such as for tax purposes
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, and complying with legal obligations. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Website enquiries are delivered to our email inbox by our form provider, Web3Forms, and this website is hosted by Cloudflare. These companies process data on our behalf. We don't share your details with anyone else unless we need to (for example, a scaffolder for your job, with your agreement) or are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for up to 6 years after the job to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count visits.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
